I’ve been a fan of David early this year, I was researching with top cake designers and I found him as one of the amazing human beings in UK who designs cake. If only gennie would grant me a wish, I would definitely include a trip to david’s shop hopefully learn his techniques in cake decorating field especially the ROYAL ICING EXPERIENCE they’re offering. Not to my surprise, he made the royal wedding cake of Prince William & Kate Middleton because he is indeed a PRO.

Beach Bummer in Batangas!

I’m a self-proclaimed beach bummer these days ago. ha ha ha! Just bear with me.I had one of the most unique experience in Batangas. For One:My first time to attend in a fiesta, Two: to sleep in a tent and be like a survivor in a lost island and Third: first time to have a photowalk with a friend who was also a camera enthusiast. Before hand, I researched some pictures about beach photography that’s why I had some ideas how to Focus and Shoot! Of course I didn’t miss any chance to take pictures with the beautiful weather, though it drizzled a bit and was so thankful it stopped. So I was so ecstatic! hahaha! I used my 450d SLR and made some edits to further expose the vibrance on each photos I took. I would like to thank Bacalso Family for taking good care and giving us the best service at their lovely abode,*we were so full talaga as they say” Mapapagod dahil ang daming pagkain na bibigay sayo— so TRUE!” The Sumulong parents for being our guardian in the island and of course the BSP Family for pushing this trip!

A taste of Little Tokyo in Manila.

I’ve read so many blogs about the so called Little Tokyo in Makati whereas they serve authentic Jap food. Since we*Jon and I* were too much in craved for to a close authentic Japanese cuisine, we opted to try out this secret place located in Pasong Tamo, Makati. I just cant believe how good he was in sense of direction and yeah we immediately found the place. As I said in my tweet, “He is like a walking map!”.

At the first glimpse you’ll notice the ark stated with its name LITTLE TOKYO. The place is so small that all restaus were compacted, few restaurants to choose from with its own specialties. Since we were early bird there were still few guests in placed thus we had the chance to check menus from different restaurants. 

Urameshiya, was our chosen one, Since we were thrilled with the ambiance and got excited to fact of A.k.a “Shabu shabu type” therefore with no hesitation, *tara dito tayo*. Loud greetings from all dressed up waitresses made us feel that hey, its so alien and we can’t understand what you’ve been saying, subtitle please, HAHA LOL. Though the staff were so accommodating and friendly. 

The place was so small, manga books, wines, background music and small tables made even felt the real Japanese ambiance. *feeling ko tuloy nasa Japan ako,*

You have the freewill to read on their manga books, haha! Kami lang ang walang hilig e. 

One thing that I liked was to experience the tradition Japanese style sitting in a semi private room where you have to remove your shoes. BUT their table was a big joke! cause the table was not enclosed and you can actually suspend your feet on the ground. *no to indian sitting* hahaha!

We had some leftovers and took it home, It was a great time indulging in these authentic jap restau.

Of course, I wouldn’t missed out taking photos with the Zen Garden.

The price was not too costly since two servings was actually plated with 3-4 heads. So it was all OKAY. 

Weeks before Spain trip.

*As of May 2011*

I’m all hyped up at this moment all because I was reminded that our Spain trip will be sooner! This is going to be my very first trip to Europe so I would like to make this extra special mostly I’m with some of our relatives. Barcelona, Grenada & Madrid- three cities in two weeks. This calls for a dead tired long trip, walk & Sleep. I promise to take a lot of pictures and of course post it as I got the chance. I was also reminded that we’ll be watching a soccer game *Futbol*. As our itinerary has prepared ahead of time, it goes to show that two weeks will be hell of a crazy whirlwind adventure. I’m so looking forward to our food trip and get to taste authentic spanish dishes. Honestly, I feel excited and sad. Excited cause Spain, Oh spain! One of my dreams ever since I was a kid. Sad because after or before this trip, boyfie might leave anytime soon. Even worst he might leave PH with my absence. Next thing I know, He already left for Dubai.Its like riding in a roller coaster you’ll never know until the drop is near. Fingers crossed, and hoping to extend until the end of May. in addition, we’ll be present in his cousin’s wedding too. Happy ending right? 

Spontaneous

The simplicity of this picture makes me feel puzzled. I don’t know why i don’t know how but every time I feel so down I just wanna look at it, think all the the happy thoughts and happy smiles behind this black shade of mine and from my fresh memory that begins to fade each day passes by. beginning of thoughts sunset makes me feel unusual with whatever reason though I still look it up close in beach scenery.So desirable to witness how the sun sets apart. this black shade resembles me some time, to hide myself whenever i want to rant or rave. I don’t know how my blogs leads now, but all i wanted to say I’m upset. 

The Script live in Manila

  Several months has past, The script concert was a talk on wherever social sites, I was about to decide whether to watch the concert live. It was slightly a strange decision for me since my man wasn’t really an avid fan but then knowing that some of my college friends are sure to watch , It kept me still hanging and besides I barely watch concerts.Sometimes I had a little sleep to finally decide to save my money instead. I know its so babaw, hehe! but that’s me, I want to think it over and over again before I decide on something not too regretful. The clock was ticking too fast until I’ve finally decided to surprise my man instead because all i knew he was about to leave within the month, * but thank God, he was requested to extend a little bit longer*

The day has come, coming from a long drive we had to take a power nap just to recharge. Just so we know we were already running late to the said time. Tickets said that the show starts at 8pm but we were stuck in the traffic jam. Since Araneta is placed near the mall, everyone was on the beat to go home, apparently that made us wait for more than twenty mins on the road. we thought of having a valet service for us to catch up. right beside the coliseum we asked manong guard to where the valet service is located, without any doubt “si kuya, aba! sabi osige bibigyan ko kayo ng pangparking basta sir bigyan niyo ako pang kape,”  whew successful! we have parking na! Thanks to Ate apple who was  also part of the production, was so willing to wait for us in the line. Well at least the line was not too long and too convenient.

Even the program hasn’t started yet everyone’s screaming out loud. it was hilarious! we moved quickly to our designated seats. seats were all occupied and some were already standing behind us. Well good thing friends of ours saved seats for us! Ohh my!! you guys wont believe how loudly the big dome was, it was super alive that night. Everyone sang and screamed at the best they can, Even us! LOL videos from the concert were not able to upload with some technicalities on tumblr but for sure you’ll get irritated with my voice behind the camera, ha ha ha! It was too obvious we had a great great great time! My man who was not really a fan was intrigued one of the songs struck him most. Though it was slightly *bitin* the band mentioned they will be coming back soon,. In the end I was not worrying where my money went, well It was all worth thinking over days! It was also a nice chance for us distant friends to catch up and update on our future lives! 

I was totally shocked when we got to the big dome, it was jam- packed.
